Ardchyle House Reviews

Veronica
Excellent location and lovely property. I had to contact the owner and I received a very prompt reply and resolution to my question
What a wonderful home, we had everything we needed and more. This property is well equipped to cater for a mixed family group and our four legged friends. It is secure and safe for our pets. The hot tub is large enough for us all to enjoy and we had all we needed to prepare our meals. Maybe some additional outside chairs would be beneficial.

This cottage looks beautiful online and when you arrive you are not let down, we were so impressed with this cottage, it has everything you need for a great holiday. The hot tub and views from it are a nice touch, the gardens are stunning and I dont think our dog ever wanted to leave them ! Beds are comfy, sofas great for relaxing in the evening. It was too warm to try the fire but I bet in the winter this is amazing. Kitchen was really well equipped and we had a lovely welcome basket of goodies. We would definitely come back to stay again !

Ardchyle House was perfect. Set in glorious surroundings and ideally placed for visiting the likes of Pitlochry to the south and Glencoe Fort William in the North. Killin a short distance away is lovely too.
Welcome pack was very nice, ladies enjoyed the Prosecco boys loved the tea cakes! ! House is lovely, very clean, well laid out with well stocked kitchen. We cooked all our meals and there were plenty dishes, pots and utensils. Garden is lovely, lots of fun space to run around for three boys from 4 to 10, lovely wee burn running through garden was not a problem for ours but might be an issue for younger tots. Made good use of hot tub during our 5 night stay.. had a problem with chlorine levels but managed to get hold of owner easily and quickly sorted out. Would definitely return and recommend to others... great place for a base to tour around. All round 5 star stay x
We have had a great week in this wonderful cottage Absolute beautiful scenery and an excellent location. The hot tub was very good after a long day out to come back and relax looking at the beautiful views. Would highly recommend this cottage to family and friends.

A beautiful house in a stunning location, well maintained and very tastefully decorated. We would love to come back another year!
House was absolutely beautiful. we had packed all our amenties but house was fully stocked with bits and pieces already. would highly recommend, views and hot tub were amazing
This is the second time we have stayed and we feel there has been a decline in the cleanliness. So many cobwebs we live in the country so know this is an issue however when you are paying for a service the expectation is that it will be clean. We had to hoover on arrival as the floor hadnt been cleaned, still bits on the floor, sweet under the chair in the snug room. Really disappointed in the time we had there due to partners health and having to leave. Your communication was great about boiler and filter. Think a booklet could be made including the info about water and other useful info because that didnt happen to us last year either. Also couldnt find clothes airer which had been there on previous year, would be helpful to dry clothes. Piece of decking is rotten on entrance to veranda could cause an issue. Dirty pans in the cupboards, had to clean them all before we could use them. Next doors dog was constantly barking again not inclined to animals as we have our own farm animals and brought our own dog with us but it was constant. Not sure if your cleaner has changed but drastic difference since last year which is really sad as it is a lovely place with amazing views. We still would come back as its perfect for a restful stay but would like to see major improvements in the cleanliness.

Excellent place, great location and helpful host would highly recommend.
We had a fantastic stay over the Christmas period with family. The house was lovely, cosy and well equipped with everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner. We had such a magical time here, would recommend 100.
A lovely house in a great location. Immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our week away. The hot tub was a real bonus and was great on cold evenings! A 10 minute drive is Killin which has a really well stocked Coop and a pub of course. We loved the house and hope to stay again one day.

Good location, hot tub was great and peaceful location
Being at Ardchyle House was like being at our own holiday home without the year long costs. Furnishings were good quality and very comfortable. The gardens are lovely and well maintained with good outdoor seating and tables. Great positioning to visit many attractions and the Coop store in Killin is so well stocked you're sure to have a well earned stayin day should you want it. We had a lovely weeks holiday with so many places to visit and knowing we had somewhere home from home to go back too. Thank you.
Excellent holiday rental. Could do with an info booklet on nearest shop to buy groceries etc if needed from a local point of view. We loved our stay and will be back again
This house is the very definition of perfect. The McIntyre family have put so much thought into ensuring everything anyone could need is there in abundance. Lovely comfy quality beds and furnishings. Full sky package and wi fi great for kids. Loved the fairy tale garden with the stream and of course the top of the range hot tub with built in wifi to pair with phone for music....amazing. The area is stunning. For brave drivers a trip up Ben Lowers is highly recommended. Thank you McIntyre family for providing this lovely property for our fabulous holiday. A beautiful property situated in a good location short drive to local coop and town with lovely pub. Stunning views clean and tidy plenty of parking large spacious rooms and the hot tub was lovely. Really really really lovely place to stay 1010
Beautiful place, loved the stream in the garden, the view was spectacular. Hot tub was super relaxing, would be nice to have a roof over it to enjoy it during some rainy evenings too! Kitchen had everything, including a little air fryer, which made cooking up small meals for 2 super easy. Overall, absolutely stunning stay, hope to come back!
Fabulous property ! Would not hesitate to book again ! Immaculate condition . Excellent location, private and secluded but so close 5min driveto the beautiful village of Killin and all amenities . Owner has truly thought of everything , the best equipped property we have ever rented! You do not need to bring a thing , cupboards full of fresh linens and towels , even for the dogs ! Cosy log burner in the very comfortable lounge , additional quiet lounge, central heating , luxury bathrooms en suite , super comfortable beds in large well organised bedrooms. Spacious kitchendinning area with every utensil you could ever need at your fingertips. Plenty of crockery and glasses for every occasion. Luxury hot tub and outdoor space . The garage with tumble dryer was a bonus and plenty of wood available. Loads of parking. Just a brilliant property !

Fantastic house with everything you could ever need. Super comfy beds and loved the beautiful garden. The hot tub was an added bonus. Owners were on hand if needed and always ready and willing to help. Will definitely recommend to others and am hopeful to come back again
Great holiday house and lovely garden.
We just enjoyed the most amazing week at this stunning house! ! It really has been done to the highest standard, with lots of little extra touches that just made our stay perfect. The hot tub is fabulous! As is the fire, and the most comfortable beds and bedding. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need. The garden is beautiful and the setting is just lovely. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful holiday
A lovely, clean and cosy house in a glorious spot. Just right for a weekend celebration and recharge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was superb after a day of activity. The property is beautiful and very well decorated and looked after. One of the best equipped kitchens we have experienced. Ideally placed, it is close to the main road but it is generally very quiet. Seeing red squirrels and loads of different birds in the garden and the sightings of deer opposite were lovely. Definitely want to return again. Thank you
What an incredible house in a beautiful location! We loved staying here and loved meeting your mum on the last day as we were leaving. The house is modern inside and has everything you could possibly need. Its a real home from home and of the highest standard. Outside, the house has incredible views of valleys and mountains and a beautiful garden. The hot tub was an added bonus and so peaceful at the end of day exploring. Make sure to visit Killin nearby. So many places within an hour Oban, Stirling, lochs, mountains, castles...we visited Dewar distillery and the Scottish Crannog Centre both wonderful. A great house we would really recommend this one! Stayed May 2021.
Arrived with family. We were all absolutely stunned by the location and after a walk around the surrounding beautiful garden to take in the scenery, we ventured inside. The house was gorgeous and immaculate! As it was a gift for my fathers birthday, we were delighted with the very thoughtful birthday greeting! Lounge with the log fire was ideal for chilling in the evening. Kitchen was large had everything you could need. Even the small tv room was somewhere for the young ones to go a play their Switchother consoles are available Upstairs the master was indeed beautiful and an extremely fitting rest point for the man of the moment. And where do I begin with the ensuite?? Bath was fabulous and the shower was incredible!! The other bedrooms were also extremely adequate and comfortable. Great sleeps all round! The hottub was the icing on the cake! An excellent addition to an already grand house and gardens. There was fantastic and quick communication with the owner, who we unfortunately never got to meet due to the COVID situation. Highly recommended for comfort, facilities and location 5
We had a wonderful family break at Ardchyle. Very comfortable, well equipped house with lovely homely touches from the log fire, vast array of books and games to the quality bedding and fantastic facilities. Great response from the owner when we had a short power cut as result of Storm Ciara. Could not recommend this house enough. Lots to do in the local area but enough in the house to keep you occupied if looking for a relaxing break. The hot tub......wow! A brilliant addition to what is a fantastic, spacious house. Will hopefully visit again in the summer. Thank you.
