Taigh Moy Reviews

Taigh Moy provided an excellent base for our group of adults to climb mountains and hills, cycle and kayak. The house was very well equipped for the group size, with plenty of space in the living area. All the appliances were easy to use, with instructions provided. We loved the location, and its everychanging views across to the Grey Corries, Aonach Mor, Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis, and were quite surprised when we saw the mast of a yacht traversing the Caledonian Canal, that runs below. It was a treat to have the hot tub, which we used every day, to relax tired muscles. The owner, Andrew, answered any queries promptly, and in detail. This was much appreciated.

We had a fabulous stay at Taigh Moy. The house is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the mountains and is perfectly placed to visit a number of sights from the west coast right up to Loch Ness. The house is comfy and extremely well kitted out, with the hot tub and wood burning stove being particular favourites.
Great place in a special location.
Faultydamaged hot tub which the owner new about prior to our stay! One of the main reasons for booking the house was that it had a hot tub. Loose seat on our en suite wc. Loose handle on shower door. Would expect better for the cost of the property.
Could not fault property in any way fantastic .
Fabulous spacious modern property providing all the amenities one has at home. The extras of a hot tub and generous sized bbq were an added bonus. The Views from the property of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains are spectacular on a clear day. There's plenty of walks nearby, but you do need a car to get to Fort William. I would definitely recommend.
A beautiful modern holiday cottage in a fabulous location.
Amazing holiday home in a spectacular setting. Everything we needed and more for a wonderful holiday for our family and young dog. Comfy, quiet, clean and spacious. Thank you you even arranged sunshine for us!
The property was exactly as described, perfect for us. All facilities were excellent, we cook a lot and the kitchendiner was top draw. The day before we travelled back a RED weather warning was issued and the owner offered us an extra night for free to avoid the danger.

We loved Taigh Moy! Beautifully located, every facility you could ask for. It was just an incredible escape. We had 7 people. The kitchen was well fitted and we found the bedrooms were incredibly cosy and secure.
Andreas
We felt very comfortable in the house. All the rooms are cosy but functional. The large windows, great views, hot tub and fireplace made our stay very special and we will definitely be back. Any questions about the house were answered quickly.
Breathtaking and stupendous views of the mountains and corries from a brilliantly designed and furnished super clean house. The infusion of natural light is very clever and the one floor layout makes for easy living and movement around the property. The guidance manual is also easy to understand and use. One of the best lets we have used. The only negative is the poor listings accuracy by the agents viz, the nearest shoppubs are 6.4 miles away not as listed. Fuel and power are listed as free but manual says only starter wood qualifies. This needs tightening up i.e. by using wood is this classified as theft !!!!!!!!. Apart from this a very desirable and attractive property
Bonnie
The views here are amazing and that is not just because we happened to see the Northern Lights! !! The house was super clean the layout was perfect for our family to hang out. It is also a great location for exploring the highlands!
Incredible house situated in the most beautiful location. It is slightly more out than would want but that wouldnt stop me recommending or returning. Its simply breath taking. you wouldnt havent to go anywhere and still have the most amazing break for the views alone. The house itself is stunning and has everything it needs and was accessible for my mam and brother who are both wheelchair users. We will absolutely be back
We had a delightful experience at The Taigh Moy, which was the perfect holiday for our group of up to eight people. The property is in impeccable condition, boasting highquality WiFi, excellent kitchen facilities, and wellappointed bathrooms and showers. Overall, the house's design is stylish and vibrant, and the views of Ben Nevis from the windows are simply breathtaking. The serene environment and prime location also made it an ideal base for our day trips around the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to the opportunity to visit again in the future.
Angela
Beautiful spacious comfortable holiday home a little further out of main town than I thought but loved seeing the boats pass on the Caledonian Canal and tranquillity of surrounding area myself and my familly enjoyed a perfect stay.
Over the years we have rented many cottages, but this was by far and away the most comfortable and the view was outstanding. I never tired of waking up for a morning coffee looking out over the hills.
Sharon
We had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Taigh Moy. The house has the most fantastic views and its clear that a lot of thought has been put into the house and its furnishings. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and well definitely be back from another visit. Thanks again for hosting us.
Malcolm
Lovely quiet place to stay, property was spotless and everything you could ever need had been thought about even down to some nice books. Would highly recommend.
