Westhaven is wonderfully situated on the shore, we saw otters catching and eating their breakfast. It was possible to kayak along the glorious coast right to the garden. Steam trains, boats to The Small Isles great location. The property is large, welcoming and very well equipped. Highly recommended.

The property had everything you needed and more . Lots of little extra touchs . The toys for the kids was much appreciated as it kept them busy as we sadly had very wet weather. Although it rained everyday, sitting at the huge windows watching the weather and tides change was a joy.

Great property, very userfamily friendly in a simply fantastic location. Wonderful holiday on beautiful Silver Sands and local beaches and the varied attractions of Morar and Mallaig. Great destination.

Absolutely loved the house, the area, and the local people. We had a wonderful holiday, I ticked off a bucket list item in walking on the beach they filmed 'Local Hero' which was a just across the bay. I would love to go back.

Please provide a potato peeler, otherwise great.

There are very few faults to pick here, however I do have three small improvements to suggest. It would be great if there was a small light out on the patio area where the picnic table is. This would be useful to light the way down to the garden in low light or for sitting out there. A washing machine is great to have, but if it was a washer drier this would be even better. The paving of the approach to the main door with the keysafe is a little loose in places and is a tripping hazard.

Westhaven is in a stunning location with fabulous views from the large lounge windows. The dining table easily accommodates 8 and there is a plentiful supply of crockery cutlery and glassware. The beds are comfortable and the linen is luxurious. This was our fourth visit and we have already booked next year. Highly recommended.

Morar is a gem of a place, beach outside of house is amazing. 2 miles from Mallaig where shops, trips, ferry are. Lots to see and do. Rode ScotRail train Mallaig to Fort William across viaduct. Location of house is excellent.

Most beautiful view of any holiday house weve had! You could just watch that view all week. Really comfortable house bigger Id say than the pictures look. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed feeding the garden sparrows all week. Lots of secluded beaches all around this area. Boat trip from Arisaig was a highlight as we saw a whale and loads of dolphins. Friendly, helpful owners. All in all fantastic.

Weve stayed in lots of holiday properties over the years and this was very well equipped and comfortable a real home from home. The waterside location and views were superb and it was very easy to enjoy day trips to Skye and Knoydart via ferries from Mallaig, not to mention the wonderful beaches all the way from the house to Arisaig. NOT FOR PUBLICATION I think the only thing missing was a hairdryer maybe I didnt find it and for us it would have been better if the heating had come on earlier as we tend to be up before 0730, which meant the bathroom etc was a bit chilly and towels not dry from night before.

The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The view is stunning. Very peaceful. Rooms are large and airy. The bedrooms are comfortable and plenty of storage space. I would definitely recommend this property.

Westhaven is the ideal property for our group. The location is excellent, very well provided kitchen and luxurious bedding and towels. There is so much to do in the area kayaking, walking, golf and the Small Isles. So good we have already booked for next year, which will be our fourth!

One the most enchanting places to stay for location and facilities I have encountered. Very lovely accommodation with wonderful amenities throughout. The owners are to be congratulated for their imaginative provisions for a family vacation. They were very helpful prearrival and made sure our holiday was enjoyable. The house was fabulous. Very comfortable, clean and spacious for the six adults who were staying. It was lovely to be able to use the wood burning stove and the wood and coal was provided. The house had easy access to some wonderful beaches and a great location for discovering the wider area and for getting ferries to the islands. We visited Eigg and Skye. The view from the living window was amazing.

Absolutely beautiful setting with fabulous view and gorgeous coast within walking distance. Incredibly cosy, comfortable, well equipped furnished and maintained to a high standard, the bungalow has a well cared for and generous homely feel. We had a very relaxing holiday with our baby and toddler, who also loved all the touches around the house. Beautiful clean house with awesome views across the bay to silver sands beach. The bedrooms are well appointed with plenty wardrobe space and beds very comfy. Kitchen just the right size for property. Living room is huge with large patio doors and a wood burner which was well used during our stay. Comfy sofas and chairs.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Westhaven the pictures dont do it justice! The accommodation was spotless and beautifully presented, and the childrens toys and books were a welcome surprise! We were very lucky with the weather and the beaches in walking distance were outstanding, but wed have been just as happy watching the tides go in and out from the comfort of the front room. Everything has been thought of and were already planning a return trip.

We had a wonderful week at Westhaven. We were really able to relax in your beautiful comfortable cottage with the best view ever overlooking the Loch. The cottage was well equipped and nicely decorated. All our needs were catered for including teddy bear blankets! We enjoyed walks, runs, boat trip to Inverie, swims in the pool at Mallaig and in the sea! We hope to return again soon.
